The Club has a good number of Toppers in its fleet and there are usually a few out either sailing for pleasure, or racing, most Sundays. Aswell as being sailed for fun, the Toppers feature heavily in the junior sailing programme, the fun day and the annual sailing camp. The Topper is very popular with kids here because as well as just sailing it, you can play around in it, jump off it, paddle it and tons of other things.

The Topper is a very popular class of boat with many thousands in use worldwide. Its success is due to its robustness, simplicity with only one sail and also its versatility.
