The Club has the Largest Fleet of Enterprises in Scotland. It is the most active class at St Mary's Loch.

Enterprises are involved in club racing throughout the year in both the Sunday series and the Wednesday evening series. We have been known to have 15 Enterprises racing on a normal Sunday and 10 on a Wednesday evening. At the annual Regatta there have been over 40 boats on the water. Many of the members also enjoy the Enterprise traveller circuit.

The Enterprise has many Cup Events at St Mary's Loch, including the Commodore's Cup, The Vice Commodore's, the Spring, Summer and Autumn Series, The Knockout Cup and the Regatta.

In 2004, we were particularly pleased to host the Inland Nationals, over the May 1st-2nd holiday weekend.

There is also a club Enterprise which was donated to encourage junior sailing at St Mary's

The Enterprise is a two-man one-design with a Portsmouth Number of 1116. It is 4.04 metres long by 1.6 metres wide with a sail area of 10.5 square metres.
There are almost 23,000 worldwide.
